Parking: Parking can be tricky since the Garden is on the US Capitol's grounds but I have had luck with street parking closer to the American Indian Museum or on 2nd St. (Personally so excited to see this return after a 2-year hiatus as we've been going since I was pregnant with my first! And mom tip: after a visit to the Botanic Garden, walk 5 minutes to the US Capitol's Christmas tree which is stunning!)ĭates: Both the Trains and the Conservatory will be open daily from November 24 to January 2nd from 10 AM to 5 PM. I recommend Cleveland Park because you have to walk uphill from the Woodley Park Station. Metro: The Zoo is an equal distance from the Cleveland Park and Woodley Park Metro stops. Parking: Parking fee of $30 to park at the Zoo.
